Battery cases/holders

Hi All,

I am interested in finding some good 4AA battery cases (not just a holder, but a sealed case) for use with a headlamp. Basically for a headlamp with the batteries on the back of your head/helmet.

Anyone know of a source? I've done a bunch of searches and I haven't found anything yet.

RadioShack has a selection of them as well. 4XAA is actually one of the easier ones to locate, I've found.

Now, for a bit more of a challenge, who'll point me to a 2x123 holder? A 1x123 holder?

I use the battery pack from a Gelert headtorch. These is for 4 AAs and waterproof and hold together with a bolt (easy to open). The whole lamp was only some 5GBP, ~10$ now.
It is more rigid than you may expect from the price.

The Radio Shack case & equivalent is the only one I've found. It's okay, but not really that great. It isn't sealed, it requires a small phillips head screw to keep it closed, etc. I've been using them in the interim until I find something a bit more robust.

A few years ago I bought a Rayovac headlamp at a Walmart in New Mexico that had a very nice waterproof 4AA case which I have subsequently used for my own light. It would be nice to find something similar for custom lights.

The pack in the Gelert headtorch sounds similating, and similar to the Rayovac case... I'll have to check on that.
