I am trying to find a battery for an old Tekna Mono-Lith. This is a stubby little light that runs off a single 2.5v lithium battery. My Mono-Lith was lost for a few years. I just found it, but it doesn't have the battery. I like the light - I even have spare bulbs - just need a new battery.

The spare bulb package says "Tekna FB1 bulb, 2.5 volt - for use in Tekna Mono-Lith, Micro-Lite or Lite-2 and other Tekna flashlights requiring a FB1 focusing beam bulb"

It looks like the battery would be about 9/16" - 11/16" in diameter and about 1.10" to 1.45" long.

Any Tekna owners, or battery experts, that can help?.

Thanks,

Have four different Teknas, not including the one I lost which is the Mono-Lith.

Mono-lith uses N sized batteries if I remember correctly.

That would be incorrect....mono-lith uses a lithium battery (Mono-Lith...meaning 1 Lithium)....

My Tekna light is roughly the size of a sub-C rechargeable. It has a clear plastic body and uses a screw base bulb in the clear screw down head. It is so worn that the name is no longer visible on the side. It does take a 123 battery.

I've had the thing for years and just replaced the battery this last month. If I remember correctly it was the first Lithium battery light I was aware of so I bought it. The original battery has no size number just a model number of 13057 but it is definitely a 123.

Thanks for the information. I tried a 123 and it physically fit. Before I actually turn it on I have a question. The Tekna bulb package says the bulb is 2.5v.
Is it OK to run a 2.5v bulb with the 3v 123 battery?
