I've got a few questions, all relevant to my homemade 1watt 12v LED headlight.
I've got a few options for Batteries.
12v Cordless drill battery, this is teh easiest to charger, but requires a custom wireing mounted for teh light.
Running a 12v custom pack, I've been trying to use the cordless drill charger but it's not "charging" for longer then a few mins.
9.6v packs, a local company has a decent deal on these, they are 1Ah 9.6v and have adequate chargers.
My question is what would the implications be if I ran the light either off the 9.6v or dual 9.6v making 18v?
I'm hoping for a run time on teh light of about 1.5hrs in between charges.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
ps. this is my first attempt at building a lighting system and so far I've got about $50 invested in a decen'ty bright light.
