Surefires are about 10 years, but what can I expect from Duracel/Energizer batteries in the AA, AAA, N, sizes?

Surefires are about 10 years, but what can I expect from Duracel/Energizer batteries in the AA, AAA, N, sizes?

If you are refering to alkaline cells, I would check the expiration date on the cell. I wouldn't use an alkaline cell beyond it's expiration date even if it is not depleted because the chance of it leaking is too high.
