Beam Shot:--McLux PR Vs. SL3AAL3DD

This is a beam shot of a Mclux-PR-R2H-DB600 against a Streamlight Task Light 3AA that I have modded with a SYOLW luxeon III running in Charlie mode (DD) off of 4.5 volts (3XAA).

One observation about luxeon colour, a very white or slightly blue emitter will appear brighter than a yellowish one yet the softer colours seem to throw farther outdoors.
