Beginner questions

Hello,

i´ve got some question about flashlight modifications.
I habe bought some leds: Red 2,2 volte, green 3,5 volts and a luxeon star witch can be driven by 2,8 volts or as a maximum 3,4 volts.
I like to use the red leds in a 2AA flashlight, the green in a 3AA flashlight and the luxeon star in a 2C flashlight.
What resistors do i need, or ist it possible to use 1,2 volts recharable batteries?
Can i use the luxeon star without a resistor, because 2C cells are less than the maximum?
