Best driver for 1 or 2 Luxeons?

as my english is not very good, I am afraid of trying to read the hole Zetex topic. I will be gratefull is anyone could tell me what could be the best and easier to use driver. I want to drive or two LS, or one LS and 4 Nichias, with 2 batteries.

As you probabliy know we are discussing the DC-DC converter topic in the "Converting Minimag" thread too. I think such a converter could also be used for the Luxeon Star. This depends on the current the convertor can deliver because a Luxeon Star sucks quit a lot of current.

Take also a look at Stingmon's homepage where he describes a mod for a Luxeon Star.
