I have a 2008 Hyundai Sonata that I replaced the factory bulbs with Silverstars and Silverstar Ultras. I was wondering which is the best NON blue tinted bulb out there for the respective bulb sizes. I already had one of the bulbs go out and I have had it for less than a year. Wouldn't mind knowing about the fog lights also 881.

Best H7s are the Osram 65w ones. Basically an H9 burner w/blacktop, on an H7 base...2100 lumens instead of nominal 1350 out of a 55w H7 (max 1512 out of any 55w H7). Have never seen the 65w bulb cause any heat damage, and Hyundai's headlight wiring is generally of heavier gauge than industry average.

Best H1s are either the Osram Night Breakers or one small step down from there, a +50 bulb like Narva Rangepower+50, Philips VisionPlus, Osram (not Sylvania) Silver Star. Both types available at Candlepower Inc among other vendors.

No point in me$$ing with the #881 fog bulbs. The 800-series bulbs are inadequate for any kind of illumination task. Low output, lax filament placement tolerances, lots of optical noise. These bulbs, and the lamps they're used in, are cosmetic toys. They do not produce any useful light for the driver, only glare for other drivers. Do everyone a favor and leave your "fog lights" turned off.
