If you were to buy a "white" LED and it were to have a color tint what would be the best tint to have for general night time indoor outdoor use at 35 feet or less?

Most folks will answer with the generic "as close to white as possible." What specific bin code will depend on the LED, as each manufacturer has their own bin coding system. (Cree XR-E, for example, are whitest in the WC tint bin.)

I like the slightly yellow tint of my P1D-CE. All 6 of the Cree lights I've seen are very white and very nice.
