Hello.
Could someone please advise which is the longest, brightest thrower out of this lot.
The reviews for Aurora WF-600 HA-III 2-Mode Cree Q5 LED Flashlight (18650/CR123A/3.6V~9V)
clip_image001.gif
SKU 8537 $39.22 seem to be fairly clear this is the best thrower. Anyone have any direct experience between the models I've listed that could would agree / disagree with that view. Also it has a plastic reflector. I melted a Chinese copy mag light reflector 3d (running 6 sanyo ni-cd sub C's...oops) that was made from plastic. Does this happen with cree LEDs and plastic reflectors. Am I better sticking with an aluminum reflector?

Aurora WF-800 Q5 1-Mode Cree LED Flashlight (7.4V~17V) SKU 8687
WF-800 3W Cree Q2 LED Flashlight (2x18650 4xCR123A 7.4V~17V) SKU 6965
3W Cree Projection Flashlight (3.6V~9.0V) SKU 4081
Aurora WF-600 Q5 2-Mode Cree LED Flashlight (18650/3.6V~4.2V) SKU 8672
Aurora WF-600 HA-III 2-Mode Cree Q5 LED Flashlight (18650/CR123A/3.6V~9V) SKU 8537
Aurora SH-40 Luminus SST-50 5-Mode 1000-Lumen Memory LED Flashlight (1*18650) SKU 33615

Thanks

I have Aurora WF-800 Q5 1-Mode Cree LED Flashlight (7.4V~17V) SKU 8687 and Aurora WF-600 Q5 2-Mode Cree LED Flashlight (18650/3.6V~4.2V) SKU 8672: WF-800 is brighter and throw farther than WF-600 but not by much. They are close to Tiablo A9 in throw just bigger in size. Note that WF-600 is fine using 2xRCR123 even the specs showing max at 4.2V. I like one level switch on the WF-800 because I prefer on/off only.

I think that two light levels will be good for me. I will have to look at the 600 model to see if it has two light settings but no strobe. Otherwise I will get the 800 model.

Also can I mod these torches with newer leds as I am sure I will want to end up there anyhow. Do they have screw out light emitters?

Thanks
