For me, the simple elegance of the Sapphire and the design and finish of the Beta Ti.

I've never really bought EDC lights based on looks I concentrated specs...but oh for me the Maglite Is the HOT chick ..I know I shouldn't but you keep buying them, I just can't help myself.

I hear ya'. I'm just the opposite. I usually buy purely based on looks and material. I like high CRI and pleasing color temperatures (to me) but mainly just want light to come out when I want it. I use them quite a bit but rarely "need " them.

I'm a fan of the functional aesthetic with traditional machining operations, like most of the old lights in my collection. In modern stuff, the '90s to mid '00s Surefires are my favorites. Like early 6P through U2 period. Right before things got really wacky and experimental.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but I think Oveready produces some of the best looking lights.

In addition, another vote for older Surefire series (modified by Oveready in the photo), and of course, McGizmos (with aftermarket body and tailcap here)…

Oveready are the most interesting flashlights aesthetically speaking in my opinion. Okluma has a very utilitarian vibe and they are my workhorses.
