Best place to order 14500?

As an experiment and based on the 3000 or so reviews I've ordered a few of those mini Cree lights. They are dead cheap and will be a good test for me as an EDC next to my Benchmade. I have read that tho they will work with AAs, they will be brighter with 14500s. Trouble is the big box ecommerce sites seem to be flooded with reviews that mention fakes. I just need a few good 14500s and a reliable charger from a USA seller. Any suggestions?

Try looking for one with a Sanyo 840mah cell.
For example the Keepower protected one, you can find them at orbtronic or intl-outdoor.

Lighthound and Elite flashlights, among others, sell the AW 14500. Keeppower 14500 is a good battery, just make sure it will fit your lights…..

Knowing where you live might help, as some places are picky about shipping internationally.

I can tell you what not to buy and that's the protected EVVA labeled jobbies using Sanyo 840mAh cells.

They're so long, they don't even fit in the plastic battery cases that I have, lol.

I've only got two, but I may rip them down and just go naked; however, I've already got four of them from Orbtronics and don't use all of them.

Although I don't use their protected cells, I did buy some naked Sanyo 840mAhs from them, as well as some other cells and the deals went smoothly.

They carry Xtar chargers, so take a look at those.
