I've been out of circulation for sometime and was wondering where's the best (cheapest) place to purchase an A2? I'm looking for the newest-style version, not some old-stock that's been lying around.

I bought mine at: www.tacticalsupply.com. Use his 30% discount code (CPF30, I believe). He is closing out his inventory, but I just checked and he has some left.

He ships quickly and is an esteemed member of CPF.

Hope this helps,
Bill

P.S. After you buy your A2, don't forget to check out the fantastic Avatrix add-on from Atomic_Chicken here on CPF.

Thanks. I just placed an order.

I believe the only LED colors left were green and blue. Check the text, not the drop down boxes. If you wanted a white I believe they are sold out.

Edited for spelling

Thanks. I didn't see anything that would indicate they were out of stock and the system did allow me to place the order. That would suck if they were out of stock and it didn't tell me about it.

It says only green and blue are available right next to both of the "Add to Cart" buttons here.

Steven's a stand up guy, so it shouldn't be a problem to get the order cancelled.

Then again, if you feel a little adventurous you could order one of the remaining colors, get the A2 at a SUPER bargain price from an excellent dealer, and then order and install a white Aviatrix ring from the Atomic Chicken for less that you could buy a stock A2 from most other places.

If you do not feel adventurous, try Optics HQ. Check the threads on Dealers who offer discounts first though as their are some specific things you MUST do to set up your account and especially to get the proper discount.

Edited for spelling AGAIN! I must learn to slow down......

Nascar - I am really sorry if I gave you wrong info. In my haste, I just went to the site, found the A2 and clicked the dropdown box, saw white - and figured they were still available. I didn't even glance at the description, since I know what an A2 is / does.

Anyway, it's about the best price you will ever find and with the new A2 add-on available, I am hoping it works out.

Best,
Bill

No problem. I didn't read the description either for the same reason. I hate it when a website will allow you to order something that is not in-stock. I recieved my order confirmation back and a message thanking me for the order, stating that he'll "ship as soon as possible". I'm not sure how to interpret that, so I sent an E-Mail as to whether or not they're in-stock. I'm still waiting on a reply.

Also, how do I tell the difference between the new version and old version(s)?

Older ones have 4 square sides as opposed to three round sides on the new one. It'll be a rare treat if you find an older one. They seem to stay put once they find a home.

That's definitely true about my two, though I do wish that the ID of the battery tube was as large as the current stock. I've yet to find any R123 that'll fit.:(
