I am looking for a free online site to play Texas hold em. I watch it on TV and see advertisements for different sites but I was hoping some of you that have played know which ones are the best to play. I don't want to gamble for money or have to buy a membership to play I just want a good site that plays with different people from around the world. Thanks

PokerStars and FullTiltPoker seem to be the most popular.

As I understand it, the .com sites (e.g., pokerstars.com, fultiltpoker.com) are real money sites. The .net sites (e.g., pokerstars.net, fulltiltpoker.net) are play money.

There are lots of sites to choose from, but many of them will not let US players play for real money.
