One of my 2 DRL bulbs burned out on my 22' Frontier, looking for a LED replacement. The location is hard to access, and the lights are daylight use only and turn off when headlights are on.

Thinking about this: https://www.sylvania-automotive.com/sylvania-7440-white-zevo-led-mini-2-pack/7440LED.BP2.html

Any other better alternatives?

Most snap-in LED bulbs in 7440 are not bright enough for DRL duty. This is because LED bulbs are not optically compatible with lamps designed for incandescent light sources—the emitters lack the correct size, shape, position and emission behavior. This mismatch results in an unfocused beam. Even if you find one that somewhat fits the criteria, the compact size of the bulb often leads to inadequate thermal management, preventing them from achieving intensity similar to that of the original incandescent bulb and ultimately providing a dim appearing DRL beam (some may even die prematurely due to prolonged usage). They'll end up looking more like a position light rather than a legitimate DRL.

However, there are other options available, though they are significantly more expensive. These retrofit bulbs replace the original bulb socket and attach directly to the lamp assembly. With large heatsinks for effective thermal management, they are powered to high intensity. The optical lenses direct light in a manner that can take advantage of the lamps reflector optics (more or less) making them bright enough for DRL use.
