Best way to build Magcharger Batt Packs?

I wonder if there are other ways to build 6V MC pack than to use five 1/2d Nihms. If there aren't any, what specifications should the 1/2ds meet to build the best Magcharger batt pack? Voltage 1.2v, and capacity?
Simply, I would like to know what 1/2d would be the best for the MC and where to get them. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

BTW, what's the pila168s made out of? I heard 168a's host is li-ion 18650. Then 168s comes from 17650?

I think the 4000 mah aero NiMHs you find here will be the best that can be found:
