that is a lousy 3d print job,

Guys
Darksucks makes a lot of great stuff.

Their bezel tool works fine for its intended purpose.

I broke the tool doing something it was not designed for. I dont blame them for that.

and I will share my impressions of the solid nylon version from Oveready in a few days

I plan to be more careful not to spread it open too far.. that is what broke the 3d printed version

update
Oveready bezel tools arrived
similar size, broken DS tool on left, OR tool on right

OR tool is 2.4x heavier, solid nylon

DS tool is much lighter, hollow plastic

adjusted the hole size to fit the smaller diameter lights that I am repurposing the tools for.

The OR tool is Much stiffer, more difficult to spread open, and the solid nylon material feels much less fragile than the hollow plastic DS tool.

Im very happy with the solid nylon OR bezel tools.. recommended, if you want a specialty tool for a specific size light.

I know I'm resurrecting a really old thread, but I cannot for the life of me find the bezel removal tools on Oveready's site. Any ideas?

Below is a real bezel remover.
I guarantee there's not a bezel it won't remove.

Or if you prefer nice colors:

Theraband or some other kind of rubbery jar opener kind of sheet. Even maybe a gumshoe kind of sole pressed down on the ring...

I can’t believe Prometheus ever sold that POS made on a rapid prototype machine. Not the right use for prototyping material.

Anyway, wrap gorilla tape around the bezel and body individually. Wrap them so the tape strip will tighten as you twist. Grab each with a really good pliers and it will come right apart.
