Big Noob in need of help !!!!

Well I am new here to CPF. I just purchased and am waiting to receive my new Fenix PD30 and TK 11 R2 torches. My question is what is the best rechargeable batteries for both lights ? Will an 18650 work in the PD30 ?:thinking:
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Looking at 4sevens.com it looks like the only battery the TK11 will run on is 18650. The other light is designed to run off of 2cr123 (6v) so 1 single 18650 or 17670 at 3.7-4.2 volts may not be enough and 2 rcr123's at 7.4-8.4volts may be too much. Something to consider, maybe wait around until someone else has tried it with their light. Have you tired asking the people you bought it from? You'd probably be alright trying the 18650 assuming it fits (it's about 2 mm wider than a cr123) The worst thing that could likely happen that way is it wont have enough juice to run, the other way (2xRCR) the worst that can happen is Anyways,:welcome:
