Bike light LED and amp question

Hi All, thank you for a super informative forum.

I want to semi-copy the square aluminum-tube design for a helmet light using the ledil optics from the current group buy. But I am not sure about LEDs and the driver.

- Should I go for Cree Q5 or R2's?
- What tint - WH seems a favorite?
- what current should I run - any reason not to run at 1 A?
- Is there any reason not to use a bFlex?

It will be for forest XC riding.

Hi, Q5 or R2, depend of that you want spent, if you put permit, then R2 if not, then Q5.

WH colour are better to ride by night give feel of see better than other colours.

Current to 1A are the best option.

Bflex, excellent circuit, no problem.
