Has anyone considered using an E20 with F04 diffuser on the handlebars to provide a flood pattern. This could be supplemented with an L2D Q5 on the bars to aim further out for more spot beam.
I've only ridden a few times at night, but will do a lot more, so I'm still experimenting and have had an L2D Q5 on the bars, and an L2D-CE on helmet, both on turbo setting.
Do you think the flooded E20 would work well and add enough usable bike lighting to justify it's purchase? If not are there any better suggestions? I would like to stay with AA batteries, currently have good supply of Eneloops and Hybrids.
I know this is CPF, and the statement 'add enough usable bike lighting to justify it's purchase' might not deter me from buying an E20 anyway. :thumbsup:
