Re: WTS: Deft Clone > XM-L2 > 4,2 Ampere >> over 550.000 Lux

@jojobos
you will be the last one in this run.

Update:
I can offer a lathe service for the host. With this your are able to use most brands of batterys. As the original deft, this host is also very narrow and not all batterys will fit! i did this with my own host. It looks not perfect inside the host, but it is very functional.
Driver update. I make some long runtime tests and the pwm regulation looks good to me. Much less heat and more runtime at med mode. Con: the switch is a two mode switch and the pwm driver nor need only one connector so you now have: off/on/off/off/on/off/off/on and so one. Mode switches when the light is on and you short tab the switch.

Thanks markus

Markus, i've just got the light, turned it on and i was speechless :eek: It hurts to look at the hotspot from 10m away!!! I got my lux meter out and measured it at 450,000 lux but that was a 3 m so i have no doubt that it will exceed the 500,000 lux mark at 10m or beyond, which is needed for aspherics anyways since the beam usually converges very far away. Seriously, forget the Olight SR90, X6 or any other LED 'thrower', ( you need 6 olight X6s to match the throw of something that fits in your pocket!) This is the first LED light that i have seen put a spot on a cloud!

What's more is that the dedomed XML hotspot size is large enough to be actually useful, and with the XPG throw will probably hit 700K or more (near DEFT-X performance). Build quality is also amazing, perfect dedome, very effective copper heatsink etc, thanks again for an amazing light, i'll post some pictures/beamshots if requested.

EDIT: Phone cameras of any kind as well as most point and shoots (even with ISO control) are just terrible at taking flashlight beamshots and unfortunately i don't have a good SLR with me ATM but what the heck.

A perspective on size...

Perfect dedome, beefy heatsink and clear lense
20130515t2054332.jpg

38,900 lux at 3m, note that my lux meter consistently underrates lux by 25% due to it being calibrated against a 2200K source(warm) and the beam hasn't even converged yet at 3m...

One of the terrible beamshots (much brighter in real life)

"Black Bullet" CLEARLY putting a spot on the clouds:devil::eek:
20130515t2054320.jpg

Note that beam size is just perfect for use for 100+m targets, and with a domed XML2 option hotspot is bigger and obviously the XPG2 domed/dedomed option is going to have a tighter beam with more throw.
