I've looked high and low for a good review of the Supernova, but have yet to find much additional info than provided on this site. Has BD improved the led at all? Is there any reasonable way to modify it? I like the idea of the 6V back up battery. And I can't find anything about water resistance (or lack thereof). Anyway, according to most, the Duo is pretty reliable. I'm considering the 5 or 8 led version although I haven't seen anywhere that sells the 8 led included with the headlamp, only the kit to upgrade an existing Duo. Any advice would be much appreciated. BTW, I intend to use the lamp mostly for backpacking, and some light caving and climbing.
