BLT Light Systems?

Anyone familar with the Ultra Wazoo DX or the Rear Super Doppler DX from BLT Light Systems?

They're sold as S-Sun in the UK, Link

Someone was talking them up on Bikeforums.net and posted this pic.

A friend of mine has that Micro Wazoo - it's "flashy", but my SuperFlash ownz it.


A couple of things that might be explaining why that Super Doppler looks brighter than the SuperFlash in that pic:
1- the lights are not aligned properly with the camera. Notice how the SuperFlash is not pointing directly at the lens (you can tell by the optic pattern).
2- The optics on the Super Doppler are collimating the beam into a narrow pattern - which doesn't make the light brighter, just having a tighter beam.

I'm skeptic about the Dopper one because I've compared several 5mm LED blinkers against the SuperFlash, and none have been as bright. It looks exactly like those white LED front lights sold at Nashbar - not terribly bright. 8000mcd is not that bright to begin with - I'm thinking it's mostly the collimated beam.
