just a quick heads up i found some new innovative product on the revogi site and got myself a copy from a local dealer. It's made in China but apparently made for the Western market.
I was able to decode the 2 QR codes on the side of the retail box:

The default bulb tint, without smartphone operation, is pure white, that is untinted cool white. The brightness is very good, brighter than my other energy-saving bulbs by Philips and Osram. In ANSI FL-1 lumens it's hard to say. I'll try to compare it against some flashlights with an installed diffuser lens.
Nobody can tell if LED bulbs will survive 15 years of daily operation .. but i do believe in the superiority of LED technology :huh:
And yes, i love the build quality and am quite enthusiastic about the product, so cool stuffz!! :rock:
