Ok, my question is about how to modify a maelstrom G5 to take a flattop 18650, but first I jsut ahve to share with the world my exceitement of my new purchase today of the ThruNite Catapult V2 XM-L .
I have been looking for a thrower with a tight hotspot. The reviews have sold me. Can't wait to get it in my hands. I have some AW 18650 2600s to put in it, so run time should be pretty good. I will get the 2900 18650s after everyone restocks from Chinese New year. 🙂
Sorry for the bragging..lol..my real question is this. Is there a quick way to mod the Maelstrom G5 to take a flattop battery? By the way, if you don't own a Maelstrom G5, it is a great light with tons of features for the price.
I've seen the light !!!!!
Sincerely,
Tailcap
