BOXER 10W/168R Runs on 6-CR123A Batteries

I just heard from Wolf Eyes that the BOXER 10W/168R can now run on 6-CR123A batteries for a runtime of 90 minutes.

I'm looking foward to your comments and questions :devil:
 
HI Mike,

Does that only apply to the 10W Version ?
Also, Do you need a special Mag Carrier for them ?

Hey DiCEMAN,
The 6 CR123A battery option is for the 10W only. WE tried it with the 24W and it lasted 15min so I wouldn't advise using CR123A with the 24W.
There is no special mag carrier needed. They fit pretty good in the standard carrier.

Yes, I did receive the Boxer. It is quite the light. Side note - How sturdy is a HID light? Can it handle being dropped from say - 5 feet? I know there's no filiment, but can the HID bulb handle the shock? I'm really hoping to use it for Duty and Search & Rescue.
