got it from donn,

arrived quickly and well packed (thanks donn)

charged it waited for dark, took dogs out for walk.

up till now ive been playing with 120+ lumen fenix and malkoffs and novatacs

at somewhere between 1000 and 1300+ lumens the mag64 is BRIGHT :twothumbs

ive been laughing all day because when i got home from walking the dogs, my neighbors 19 year old son was unpacking his car, back from college for xmas, he called my name from the dark so i turned the mag64 on him from about 110 feet.

in my experience teenagers are hard to impress, always wanting to remain 'cool'

he practically fell over and mumbled something 'religious' that sounded like

"cheese and rice, that things ******** bright"

$100 well spent

A turnkey Mag64 for a hundred bucks is a very nice deal.
Let us know how the runtime is on the cells your using.

Now that you have a hotwire, you do realize that there is no turning back??

Pretty soon your going to start wondering what 3 or 4 thousand lumens looks like coming out of a 2D Mag.

$114 with shipping etc.

i think runtime is about 25 minutes in the 64? (eneloops)

ive purchased about 15 lights in 6 weeks. (romisen- nightcore-novatac-mag64)

(given some away to deserving folk)

i think im done for a while.

but im just gonna slip over to the custom BST now just to be certain
