I went all Speaker and couldn't be more satisfied.
The 8700s sip amperage and have a very refined spread of light. The 6145 foglights fill the void of light and illuminate the foreground perfectly for inclement weather --- used them this morning on twisty/hilly/narrow drive to the gym in a frog-drowner.

Frankly, I didn't expect these foglights to work this well. I sorta expected a bit of LED bling.
I'm jaded...
But pleasantly surprised.
Kudos to the JW Speaker crew. You've really made a perfect combination for the Jeep!

Great that the fogs exceeded your expectations. But please don't just say this project is finished. For the next photo, you'll need to arrange the wipers vertically, too, as well as rotate the handle on the hood by ninety degrees.

And wouldn't you like two more lights on the outer parts of the bumper so it doesn't look like birds sat there for hours, staring at the speakers?

I got a chuckle outta that.

I like the futuristic look of the JB. You ought to contact them and point them at some of your threads, I think they would jump at the chance to have you perform a real world review of sorts for them.

Or maybe time to look into fancy reverse/brake lights

JW Speaker won my almost-scientific testing for 7" round Jeep lights; that's why I whipped out the credit card for them when it was time to buy something.

Trucklite makes a decent product too and I always point people to them if they have an older vehicle or one that might see more rugged trail use. The TL uses about 25% less than the already low power use of the JWS and that matters to somebody that's using their battery for a winch, onboard air, locking differentials, etc and might be a little far from AAA.

I've tested both generations of the 8700 & the TS3000R. I avoided foglights previously because my 2008 had 9145s that worked fine. The 2014 had PSX24W and a weird lens --- didn't quite work well enough for where I live and commute.
In a twisty/hilly area with lots and lots of gentlemen's farms, streams, "hollers", there is almost always fog in the morning. And that's not really too bad -- unless there's a vehicle that comes at you. That's when you lose the lines on the road unless you have your foglights on.

My GPS informs me that my "moving average speed" is 35 mph. A few of the roads I take every morning have speed limits from 15 to 25 mph; they're that dodgy. Good lighting makes a difference.
