Brighter Flashlights?

Used that way, the 12oz. can should last for about 11,566 flashlight cleaning/lubings or 8 years, -whichever comes first

The problem I've found with getting something for long term use in an aeroasl can, is the propellent goes long before the product. You then have a can 1/2 full, but no way to get it out. TX

According to the aerosol institute (believe it or not, there is one

, if the container is air-tight -has no leaks, the propellant should not degrade in any way-and should last indefinitely..so they say.....

So your saying some day a million years from now some alien visiting our planet might find a can of unopened hairspray somewhere, and it will still work

Canned whipped cream seems to be the worst offender of all. Much of the time, there's only enough propellant to empty an ounce or two of the can's contents, and the other 15 ounces goes to waste right in the can.
You're then stuck with an essentially FULL can of ready-whip and no way to get it out.
Seems about 2 out of 3 I buy are like this.

I'd be better off buying a hand mixer and jars of Avocet whipping cream... at least the product doesn't get trapped in the bowl after the first couple of spoonfulls are used.

Maybe if they put your flashlight spray in ready-whip cans, you would get propellant-free product 2/3 of the time and then you could just saw the can open and dump it into dropper bottles.

i get this problem sometimes, but not due to the age of the whip cream =P...but your right, they need more nitrous oxide propellent! =)

Maybe no EASY way to get it out, but there is always a way. Heck, I wish the propellant would escape completely, so I could decant this stuff more easily into a dropper bottle.
