Brightest 4 AA light?

So far I've only bought LED lights.
(my favorite is the Blue-Green Infinity)
- 3 Photon IIs (White, Red & Turquoise)
- Arc AAA (Turqoise)
- Energizer 2 LED folding lantern

Now I'm thinking about getting a REALLY bright light and seems like that might be a Xenon bulb?

Most of the time I'd like to use NiMH AAs or Lithium AAs in case this light ends up in the glove box for emergencies. I know that everyone likes the SureFire lights...but I'd rather not buy something SO expensive.

a Princeton tec 40 a 3cell mag bulb and use NiMH AAs and overdrive the bulb,very good beam and close to the brightness of a 2cell surefire.

My brightest 4AA light is an Energizer Arc White with a MagLite 3C/D bulb. Has a VERY tight, white beam that blows my Stealth Light away!

A relatively small yet powerful package is a Princeton Tec Tec-40 with NiMH and HPR53 4.0V 0.85A bulb. Whiter and throws further than a Scorpion on tight focus.
