Brinkmann 3aa

I have seen some outstanding mods using the brinkmann 3aa, and would like to perform some myself, but there is no retailer within 60miles of my house that sells one! i have looked everywhere i can think to. are there any cheap online retailers that sell these? Also, i have seen Mr. Bulk and others use Acrylic balls that fit perfectly into the head. if someone could provide a link, or could possibly sell one to me (preferably including an acrylic ball) i would greatly appreciate it. I get my Brinks here.. They're $18.95 shipped. Kinda pricey but they haven't screwed anything up yet and seem to be a stand-up company for those I've known who've had a problem.

I get the acrylic spheres from TAP plastics locally in my town. They're about 50 cents a pop..

When I ordered 3 @ Brinkmann 3AA's and 4 of their best-of-breed 2AA NexStar bulbs for my minimags, Brinkmann sent me a free bonus $6.95 2AA flashlight because my order was north of $50. They also attempted to fix my "mistaken" order for 3AA bulbs by shipping me 2AA bulbs.

When I brought this to their attention they told be to keep the 3AA bulbs and sent me the 2AA bulbs the same day.

My order for a 5-3-2 modular D-cell flashlight was handled without incident.
