Brinkmann Armormax 1AA

Greetings,

Does anyone know if the Brinkmann 1AA flashlight can take a 14500? It is rated at 60 lumens and uses a cree led. It is very bright on a alkaline or Nimh and I really like the light, but I don't want to blow it by putting a 14500 in it if it can't handle it. Thanks for any input.

doesn't seem like a good idea considering the light is plastic, and the amount of heat that might generate. i have three of them, and wouldn't chance sacrificing a single one. plenty bright, and useful on l91, or nimh.

Thanks for the links and the input. I really like the light and don't think that I'm going to chance blowing it. I'll try some L91 lithiums. Thanks again.
