Yeah its a bit much, but I love my new MaxFire XL so much that I put it on my keys using a keyring that secures under the tail cap. The light works great this way and best of all I'll always have it.

I like to use it when I get home from work (12pm) and check the grounds and fill my bird feeder. Here in the rural country there are ZERO streetlights and nighttime is truly dark. Makes for wonderful starry skies (saw the Milky Way this weekend) but also makes for a dependence of reliable flashlights.

At the old house we had a street light literally feet from the front door so I rarely even had to turn on the porch light and forget the need for any flashlight (outdoors). Now that I have 4 acres and no streetlight I'm finally a flashlightoholic...and thats why I'm here and carry one of these...

No its a Grand Marquis (but I love it none the less).

Side note: I just dropped $15 for a Fenix E01 shipped. Heck for $15 shipped I couldn't pass it up. The MaxFire is a little much for a Key chain, I love it, really love it, but not on my keys. Plus my old and trusty Maglite Solitaire is dead, the Fenix should be a sizable step up (had no interest in an expensive key chain light)

The Fenix should be good enough (I hope) for getting to my bird feeder at night (the main reason I need a small carry-all-the-time light, that and just for general up close use).

Damn I love flashlights! (Don't tell the wife)
