There was a short blurb in the sports page of my local paper yesterday mentioning this light. Sounded interesting. It's apparently an upgrade of a previous model. Uses 1 AAA, has one 0.5w white and two reds, and costs about $20. One site mentioned 2 greens instead of red. Anyone here have one or seen one?

I guess this one is too new, or too lame for comment. I'd not seen a cap light that ran on 1 AAA before, only button cells. If it had more than one level for the main beam I'd probably jump on it. Might anyway. I wonder who actually makes it, since it's obviously rebadged.

I gave some of the Gander Mountain LED caps for presents this year.

for two white LEDs, they use use two coin cells, I didn't notice what size.

I did wonder if they could be converted to rechargeable AAA's.


****'s Sporting Goods had one with two green and two white. didn't notice the batteries.
