Does anyone know the whereabouts of PTS-Flashlights these days ?

I have tried email, phone calls with voice mail, and PM´s to Mike at PTS with a problem I´m having with my M300 Lion but everything has been to no avail, there is no answer to either.

The bulb inside the flashlight is bulged inside the reflector and I'm at a total loss here unable to contact PTS.

I don´t want to post anything in the Jeers sections being a little premature but wanted to know if anyone has heard from them lately ?
Any help is much appreciated.

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

I too have been calling and I have an order thats been paid for that is still not here after several weeks and I have not gotten a response to several phone calls. It's starting to make me nervous but I'll wait a little while longer before I pull the trigger on a dispute for the charges.
I really wanted the lights. I understand that he does gun shows and such and sells lights at the shows, so it may just be a case that he's on the road. He should have a better way of keeping contact with his customer base.

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

I have bought quite a few lights from PTS and have found their service hard to beat. One time I was unable to get a response via e-mail because they were having computer issues. I ended up leaving a phone message referencing my order number and got my issue taken care of that way. I wouldn't worry too much, Mike will take care of you!

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

Thanks for the replies!!

I too have bought heavily from him in the past, but as of late they seem to not be there for customers.

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

I spoke with Mike on the phone last week... he's around. Are you calling the number on their "contact us" page? Sometimes you have to call a couple times to get through.

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

I'm eager to see how this gets resolved. PTS has a few items I can't get elsewhere. Please keep us posted.

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

I´ve been trying with more phone calls and more emails.

I´m finding this situation unjustified from a store, not an individual. Unless the store is in major trouble, why the lack of response ?

I´m very anoyed to say the least. If anyone has had recent contact with PTS I´d appreciate if you could post.

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

I just called the office about a minute ago, and Mike answered. He said that he's getting a lot of SPAM email and has probably missed a few here and there. He also said that he had a problem with his voice mail, and lost some messages. I don't know exactly what's going on, but I let him know that he had a couple unhappy customers.

Hopefully he'll find this thread and post something soon.

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

I've had fast response to email from Mike in the past and only heard good things about PTS. So whatever is happening, I'm sure he's not ignoring emails on purpose. It sounds to me like PTS have been targeted by a spammer or perhaps a disgruntled customer sending out spam bombs.

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

Thanks for bridging this for me and posting here.
I must say this is poor, the PM I sent to him shows confirmed received. Phone calls have been several, not one, and so have emails.
If all else failed, has he bothered to check this thread knowing there are a couple of unhappy customers ?
The phone number area code 509 214 0302 is a long distance phone call to me that I keep paying for one minute of voice mail to no avail.
We have bought many many Wolfeyes Raiders, lots of Fenixes, lots of LF lamps, and an M300 lion from PTS and don't think we deserve to be ignored.
I will keep on trying contact next week, thereafter this will go to the Jeers section of this forum.

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

LED61, you've been a member here for a while. You should know Mike's /PTS flashlights reputation (It's very good.) Your annoyance is understood but, you can't allow one situation (which you don't have the whole story to) to determine your overall feelings for a supplier. As you've said, you've bought many things from them already, and I must ask, have any other purchase been as unsatisfactory as this?

As a loyal customer to PTS, you've tried multiple times to contact them. Do you think that first time customers would be so determined? Don't you think that Mike and his people are aware of the fact that they are loosing business due to this poop?

Again, I'm not saying that you should't be upset but, sometimes sh** happens that is no one's fault. (If it's not obvious, I'm being the 'Devil's advocate' here.)

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

I have had no response to emails and phone but i have still been ordering from him recently, i bought a liberator GP about two weeks ago & waiting on my P7-M90 Rattlesnake from him.

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

Your point is well taken, but, they are my sentiments exactly!!

The Wolfeyes Raiders are such a great light for the buck that I'e bought so many of them for presents and not a problem. Same goes for the Fenixes.

The M300 Lion has been another story though. I was among the first to order when they were on introductory price at $169. Now it is up to $199. It is a light that sees repeated use and I need it. It is down with a bulged bulb inside the reflector. I cannot put the light to use unless I get a response from the dealer I trust.

There are no plans right now in my mind to scrap PTS as my supplier and I'd certainly like to order more from them. Any complaint expressed herein has started in a very mellow fashion in hopes to get some attention. Now that I know he knows that I've been trying hard to contact them, maybe he'll do something to contact me ?

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

I also bought one of the first M300's. I also had a bulged bulb. Wolf-Eyes ended up re-designing the bulb and I'm not sure the original bulb is still available. The new bulb has a smaller threaded base that requires a new flashlight body. It took a while to get it all straightend out but I ended up with a new light body and 3 of the new bulbs.

In the mean time, I used my Storm quite a bit and found it to be a more versitile light. The M300 ended up in the lights for sale section.

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

I just bought a Sniper from PTS about a week ago, with no problems. I got it 2 days after I ordered it, which surprised me because it usually takes 3-4 days. I don't know if that helps you or not though.

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

My friend, thanks for posting this. You've given me hope that somehow my problem will be resolved. Interesting, may I ask you what you did to end up getting a new body and three new bulbs ? also, what did you do to get the bulged bulb out of the head ?

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

Basicly, I just unscrewed the bezel causing the bulb to bench against the reflector - after I placed a thin layer of tape over the bulb to protect the reflector. Because the bulb is a high pressure unit, I made sure not to point it at my face. The bulb is not epoxied to its threaded base, so when unscrewing the bezel, the base pins are twisted until they break.

PTS sent me an entire new redesigned M300 with batteries and charger and let me keep everything from the original!!! I think this was because I had to wait a very long time for a replacement so I doubt everyone gets that deal.

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

I just went through the voice mails on my phone & the first was on Thursday from Mike telling me the P7-M90 i ordered was actually on pre order till Monday,Tuesday which is fine with me. i just wished i picked up the phone that day instead of thinking it was my boss calling me on my day off.

Re: PTS-FLASHLIGHTS--WHEREABOUTS ?

I think you are talking about unscrewing the head right ? going farther as if you were focusing for flood right ? but that still leaves the bulged bulb trapped inside the head as the now bulged bulb cannot exit through its hole. And if I break the bulb with plyers I'll ruin the whole reflector head so that's where I am now.
