Still finding meat from last year I found some beef chuck style ribs from last August and cooked them in the croc pot, quick cook style.
They thawed over night and sat out 20 minutes before cooking. I turned on the croc pot and let it run on high (with a quart of tap water) for 30 minutes before adding the meat. The meat was coated with McCormick seasoned salt as a rub worked in.
I like cooked carrots. Mrs Fixer does not. Rather than chasing them around the croc pot I stuck them in a coffee filter that was placed into the hot water.
Added a stick of butter for more flavor. Cook about 90 minutes.
Butter, ribs, carrots starting
Melting butter floaters added to the carrot basket
I sprinkled a little cinamon on the carrots as an appetizer, round out the meal with tender beef ribs and some unsweetened applesauce. Spring water to drink.
