Buying LEDs from Future Electronics: 10% Discount?

First a disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with Future in any way, although I happen to be a Philips/Lumileds fanboy.

If you create an account at Future Electronics (USA) and checkout as a user, you might get 10% discount on most products (NOT all). I didn't know this until very recently and thus might have lost about $100 so far by using the express checkout for guests. (Or, maybe I'm getting the discount now as I've ordered over $1000 of stuffs from them over the year?) Registering also saves time since your billing/shipping info is stored in their database. Just wanted to share this with you.

Good to know, although I usually start off with Newark as they seem to have the best selection of Bridgelux LEDs

This is not a bug on their system for sure, since in my latest order the discounts have been applied🙂 The strange thing is they never talk about this discount anywhere??? Anyways, I'm glad it works for me now.
