I have this Cabela's branded Nuwai X-3 that I like a lot, but I was wondering what kind of battery setup would produce the best runtimes. I'm currently using Energizer rechargeable Nimhs, but the runtime seems lacking. Would I be better off just running primaries, or is there a better rechargeable out there?
Also, I have two pairs of rechargeable batteries I rotate in this light, one is Energizer and the other is some no-name brand that I don't remember where I got them. The charger will charge all four at the same time. If one pair is low quality or already shot, will this affect the ability of the other pair to take a good charge if I'm charging them all together? (The Energizers do appear to provide the better runtimes of the two).
Also, if anyone is familiar with this light and wants to pick up a couple, Cabela's currently has them online on clearance for $20.00. I think it's a pretty decent light at that price (think I paid $30 for mine).
