Search is dead for me.

Whats the difference between these two reflector types? Which one do I need for a ROP?

Are you using a KIU or AW (soft start) socket? If so, the cammed reflectors won't fit on mine, unless you remove the portion that makes it a "cammed" reflector. If you are using a FM ceramic holder, I haven't had any problems at all using a cammed reflector.

The differences between the cammed and camless is of course, the cammed will allow you to turn the reflector head to switch from spot to wide; similar to the stock maglite. FiveMega's cammed reflectors are nice in that you can remove the bottom portion, and make it a camless reflector. Whichever one you order, make sure it can fit the slightly wider ROP Hi bulb (wider than the WA1111). If you ever decide to go the Philips 5761 route, then you will need the even wider opening reflector that FiveMega also sells.

I just recently built a Mag 2C ROP using:

1 x Maglite 2C Black
2 x AW 26540 LiIon cells
1 x Fivemega MOP reflector w/ removable cam
1 x Fivemega Stainless Steel Tailcap
1 x Flashlightlens UCL
1 x Download MagCTower (replacement bulb holder meant to withstand the heat, while retaining cam focusing)
1 x Download MagRing (to attach lanyard)

One of the key features is that the cam focusing is preserved with this build, which is quite nice for say -- I wanted to have at least one incan in my collection with the cam focusing feature. On the stock mag, the focusing is almost useless due to the low output and smooth reflector (makes for a horrible flood light) but this particular ROP is excellent at both. The ability to quickly switch to flood is quite useful for, say, searching the ground up close for a lost item. The MOP reflector provides a nice tradeoff between fairly strong throw, yet enough diffusion to provide a flood beam without too many artifacts/donut holes.

FiveMega's cammed reflectors are nice in that you can remove the bottom portion, and make it a camless reflector.
Where this comes in handy is if you have one light that has cam focusing, and another that does not, you can still switch reflectors between them (say, a VLOP for a MOP).
