Can anyone make me this better ? ..please take a look..its funny if nothing else

i have a mag head with aspheric lens..and an surefire 505B with cree Q5 inside the mag...very crude with black elctrical tape to hold Led torch body in place...but it works and produces a nice tight beam.. my mag is knacked so i was just messing around..but is there any way i could make this a perminant set up with a very small body maybe running a 18650 cell ?
any ideas..im also waiting on an 74" lens..anyone know what head this would fit and a body to power it up ?

When you say "surefire 505B", are you talking about the Ultrafire 505B clone of a Surefire? An Ultrafire stuck inside a MagLite to make an Aspheric-Mag, that sounds interesting. How do you turn it on? Crumpled aluminum foil will work better than electrical tape as far as thermal conductivity. What is a 74" lens?

Here's a couple of stickies about posting pictures, here and here. The main thing is you need a picture hosting site like ImageShack or PhotoBucket. Most ISP's allow a certain amount of storage space as part of the monthly service fee. The picture hosting sites are easier and they cost nothing.

You could probably have a aluminum adapter made to go from the surefire to the mag head with the correct threads for both.
This will probably be some what costly for one custom piece. If your serious about getting one, you could ask over at CPF Custom Flashlight Builders and Modders.

any ideas how to get a natural tinted LED host and head to fit it all into.. ?

Really I just need the thread type of the host. I know what the thread is on that mag head (if it is a D mag). you are just looking for a part that will thread into the mag head and have female threads for the host right?

Me too it reminded me of one of those maracas (sp?) that you shake.. Oh and 75mm sounds alot better than a 75" aspheric lens, I thought at first you wanted to make a spot light.. Can just imagine rolling out a spot light. :huh:
