I saw this in a store: Looks like about 3D-cell aluminum (mag-lite type) with krypton incandescent on the front with 2-white LED in the tailcap. Can operate either with incan. light out the front or LED out the rear, or both at the same time. Any ideas what this is or info. about it? Thanks in advance.

Alphawolf,

What store did you see it in? I'd love to take a look and see if it's availible here in my neck of the woods.

Cheers!

I think I know what it is. I saw a new product listed in a gun magazine. Here's what it said.
From ICON. Versalite Dual Beam. One hand focus. The LED light increases battery longevity by 50% when used as a primary light source. The lantern light has interchangeable krypton bulbs. The Veralite has incorporated a Halagen bulb and parabolic reflector to create a light five times brighter than conventional flashlights. Contact ICON Health & Fitness. 1-800 446-4512 or [email protected]

I have problems with this. Note Versalite vs Veralite in the wording. My emails came back undeliverable. I called the telephone number and the rep knew nothing about lights (they make Nordic Track). I faxed the rep a copy of the article and never heard back from him. I emailed the editor of the magazine asking for conformation of the article or correct contact information and he did not respond.
Bottom line is I got nothing on this. Go ahead and buy one and let me know what it's like.
