I am new to the forum. Also new to HID lighting. I recently developed interest in UV photography. People have mentioned HID light as cheap alternative for dedicated UV light. I am thinking of getting a relative high power HID flashlight but have no clue what to choose. Basically I'd prefer something with easy maintainence and easy mod. I am particularly concerned if I can get the bulb with the right color temperature(e.g. >=11000k). Most of the items I found online use a bulb with temperature 6000~8000K. Comments welcome! Thanks!
