Hi Folks,
I'm new to candlepower forums, but I've been acquiring and trying out a variety of lights lately, and I thought I'd try to contribute. This obviously isn't a quantitative review like those done so well by selfbuilt et al. And I'm not contributing photography -- between manufacturers' pages and other reviews, that should be covered. I work in the product design department of a well-known consumer electronics company, and I think it may give me a unique perspective on things that could be worth sharing.
So here's my EDC rundown...

JetBeam Jet-I Pro v2.0 (AA) (smooth)
Pros: removable clip, body resists rolling even without clip
Cons: doesn't tailstand, mushy switch, largest light tested,
poor user interface

LiteFlux LF3XT (CR123A) (OP)
Pros: silent switch, tail cutaways make it easy to orient light
by feel
Cons: switch hard to access, knurling on body too shallow, poor
user interface (shutoff delay, brightness level not persistent
after shutdown in "compact" UI, "advanced" UI too complicated)

EagleTac P10C (CR123A) (OP)
Pros: brighter than other three lights, removable clip, body
resists rolling even without clip, positive-feeling switch,
slightly flared head makes it easy to orient light by feel,
supports momentary-on, dead-simple UI
Cons: no knurling on body, tailstand less solid than ideal,
no storage box included

NiteCore D10 (AA) (OP)
Pros: excellent beam quality, excellent form-factor and deep
knurling, silent and positive-feeling switch, intuitive UI,
supports momentary-on
Cons: hard to orient light by feel, no storage box included

These are listed in rough order of how much I like them, from worst to best.
One discrepency I've noticed is that people seem to really like the LF3XT, whereas I found it to be a bad user experience and a mediocre light by performance. I love the D10 to death, but the extra available (and class-leading) brightness of the EagleTac definitely earns it some points.
I started out with Energizer L91s and standard Duracell CR123s off the shelf. But for the last couple weeks, I've been running AW14500s and AW123s from 4sevens. It's worth noting that the P10C runs quite hot on the AW123s. So hot that, after about 45min of tailstand, hot air can inflate the rubber tailswitch cover until the light falls over! Cycling the switch once or twice releases the pressure and gives you some more tailstand time. I've notified EagleTac about this.
