I'd rather have my '63 Stingray

Was colleagues with a guy some 20yrs ago who had one. He loved it. Was his "country" car and only rarely a "daily driver" for him. Lived in a small enough town where he didn't get harangued often. If he's still kicking, I'm sure he's still got the thing.

The only Caterpillar dealerships, in my area, is around the central valley farmlands.

Wonder if Cat will do a joint venture selling them through other (Ford?) dealerships

Very cool truck!

Some of you might remember my friend's 1956, F 350 from 15 months ago -

Progress has been slow. However, there is an update -

This Mercury is almost ready to be put in place. Then we're gunna cruse it up and down the road. 😁

Rick said he's waiting on painting the valve covers until after the motor has been set in place.

The C8 ZO6 made an unofficial lap of 7:11 a month ago driven by Gebhardt. And that was without any other help. GM made a few laps earlier but hasn't released those results.
Most of Gebhardt's runs are slower than those ran my other drivers by the manufacturers engineers themselves.
You can knock an average of 10secs off of that and be just over 7:00, not bad at all.

At the video stated, once you get into the 6min lap times your flying!

I hope mustang does succeed as it keeps the homeboys in competition at the tracks.

The U.S.A. Where we're blessed to be able to choose between a Corvette or a Mustang. What a great country to live in!
Amen. Get 'em while you can though, before they go the way of the Camaro (again) and Challenger (again). The times are changing more quickly than ever, and likely not in a positive direction...

BTW- Personally, I'd probably have to go with the C8, as it has (apparently) become quite a (dare I say 'world class'?) car now.

Ford has always been stuck on 1/4 mile and left turn racing and has never (consistantly) given their attention to the swirvy's like they should.

Their F1 Ford/Cosworth program was nothing to sneeze at but they went "eh, we want to beat Dale Earnhart every Sunday" because it sold cars on Monday. These days with so many $100,000 cars available and being big sellers, perhaps Ford will actually stay focused on the swirvey's but I aint holding my breath.

Dirk Mueller would take a Ford GT in the GTLM class at Road America and somehow turn off his brain and get pole position.
He would chuck a Ford GT outside what it was supposed to do...
and not lift where every other Pro driver would lift.

Ganassi won the Championship in '17

Noticed it right away, Dirk Mueller is the driver in the Mustang GTD video I posted earlier.
