cell phone audiovox battery charging?

I was wondering if anyone knows what is the best charging scheme to use when deciding on charge times. Should the battery be run way down or can it routinely be charged at some other interval. I've read the manual (as most would agree is first step) and it says nothing on this issue. I know that nimh batteries don't suffer from premature charging effect and I do know that a Li Ion battery is used in this phone, any info would be appreciated.

If it's a lithium battery it should be charged whenever you have a chance. The deaper the discharge cycle is, the less time the battery is going to last.

thanks for the reply zmoz, I was kind of assuming the opposite, thinking that the only battery that didn't suffer the memory effect syndrome was the nimh, thanks for the info.

ZMOZ has it right. The more you charge a NiMH or Li-Ion the happier they are. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
