Challenge: You\'re NOT a Flashaholic if you EDC 1 light

Obnoxious statement? Challenge? Flame bait? Take it anyway you like. Since "Two is one and one is none" I maintain that anyone who EDCs only one light is only part Flashaholic; you are in fact a Halfaflashaholic or even a HalfA$$aflashaholic and should be so designated.

lol. Very true on the 2 is 1 and 1 is none part, but sometimes I only have 1 light on me and then one within reach or the like. There are also times when I still don't carry any light and probably never will. One example is when I race. An Arc or Photon doesn't weigh that much, but I've just never gotten used to carrying it unless I'm running at night or have other gear with me. Just $0.02.

5 and 10k usually, but I'm thinking about training for a half marathon this summer and possibly doing a full one next year. My knees are starting to show some wear and tear, but so far I've been able to keep on going. Did you ever run the Bolder Boulder in Colorado? Of all the 10k's I've ran it is still my favorite.

I only /have/ one flashlight that is edcable. That is a 5w pr on an L4. I often carry a turbohead with an N1 though.

Oh I forgot the matrix. I dont edc that any more. I would probably carry a dim light too if I had one.

I EDC a L4. What could possibly go wrong with it?

I doubt the luxeon will burn out. I doubt my lithium batteries will suddenly stop working.

What if you EDC different ones, but depending on your plans for the next few hours, you may only be carrying one at a time? And there are always at least 2 more real close by? And a few in the console of the vehicle just in case....

My God, you are right. I carried two lights today when I went the movies. A 1AA Arc LS1, and a SureFire E2. One to pick up dropped stuff in theatre, and one to blind the bad guy.

My entire workday is spent underground. After the first power failure at work where my M*g let me down, I went after some contingency lights. I currently EDC an E2e and newly-acquired Firefly (replacing an Inova X5).

I also keep a D2 in my briefcase, along with a fully-stocked SC1.
