In looking for a suitable battery charger for Lithium-Ion cells, I have read about various useful features that are important considerations when selecting a charger.
I have read that it is important to have a reliable cutoff charging voltage, to ensure the cells aren't over-charged. I have read that it's also useful (important?) to have control over the charging rate, since various batteries respond differently to how quickly the recharging is done. Likely, there are a number of useful or necessary features for a Li-Ion charger.
Q: What features and controls would you recommend be part of any basic charging device used to recharge 3.7V Li-Ion batteries?
