Hi I have a WF-137 and 2 ultrafire protected 18650 3000mha.

One of the cells was 3.91V so I do the math and estimated that the charging time would be like an hour.

I charge the cell for 1 hour and the cell was 4.14, then I charge it for 35 minutes more and the cell was 4.18.

Ten minutes after the cell was 4.19.

7 minutes after the led on the charger change green and the cell was still 4.19.

The cell never got hot.

Is this normar? Why is the time diference between the first part of the charge and the last part when the cell was almost "ful"?

The cell is brand new. I´ve only chraged the cell one time to 4.14 after that I've used it to 3.95 charged again to 4.1 and used it to 3.91

Thank you

Hello MaxCarjuzaa,

Welcome to CPF.

When charging Li-Ion cells, the current drops off at the end of the charge. This results in the last 20% of capacity charged taking as much or more time than the initial 80%.

It sounds like you had a pretty normal experience.

This is normal. Every notebook charges the same way. The last 100 meters the train rides before it stops at the platform also take the longest.

And if you fill up your car when you have to move a lot, the last bit also takes the longest.

Same is true for charging batteries.
