Newly Enlightened
I am considering making (or buying) a few different battery packs to experiment using various WA bulbs in MagC/D bodies. For example, I am wondering about using 8 high-current AAAs in a Mag2C. Another option is using 2 or 3 Pilas in a Mag 2/3C. Or I might want to custom solder 8AAs for my Mag85 to simplify charging and reduce resistance from the adapters.
Is there a single solution that would handle all three applications? I've read some of the reviews about chargers, but I haven't seen a generic charging system that would handle these different applications. Does one exist? If so, a pointer would be very helpful. THANKS.
Also, I've seen recommendations for batteries that handle the high current load of bright bulbs. Most seem to be available online. What is the best AA NiMH and AAA NiMH battery that is available in Target / Walmart / Costco / Frys/ Radio Shack / etc.?
Thanks,
Michael
