I'd like to charge my LiIon cells at 4.1v instead of 4.2 to get more life out of them.
Problem is, I have a RC charger that can't be manually programmed. Left to do its thing it'll always bring cells to juuuust a bit less than 4.2.
Is there any electronic component I can stick in series inbetween cell and charger to let the cell get a bit less voltage without the charger knowing and/or freaking out?
Thanks

Hello Fallingwater,

Some Li-Ion chargers are sensitive to lead wire resistance. You can try adding a length of 22 gage wire to your charging leads and see if that makes a difference.
